Jewelry care

A little care goes a long way.

The Marquise is plated jewelry. Keeping it dry and reducing contact with chemicals and friction helps limit unnecessary wear.

The essential rule

Water off. Bracelet off.

Remove the bracelet before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping. Do not wear it in water. It is not described as waterproof, tarnish-proof or fine jewelry.

Plated finishes can naturally change with time and wear. Care slows avoidable exposure; it cannot make plating permanent.

Put it on last.

Apply perfume, lotion, sunscreen, hair products and other personal-care products before the bracelet. Let them dry completely, then put the jewelry on as the final detail.

Take it off first.

After wear, wipe the bracelet gently with a clean, soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Support the links rather than pulling the bracelet straight. Do not soak it or use ultrasonic, steam, chemical or abrasive cleaning methods.

Give it its own space.

Store the bracelet closed, dry and separate from other jewelry to reduce rubbing, tangling and scratches. Avoid bathrooms, direct sun, high humidity and sudden temperature changes. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Keep these away.
